Someone who posted didn't vote. tisk-tisk.

Progressive roc/metal. We're talking Savatage, Dimmu Borgir, and Children of Bodom. Awesome stuff. I'll also go for classical and such, country too. It's too bad this poll wasn't multiple choice.

I was waiting to vote to see if an admin would fix the poll, like I stated in the message I created. Anyway, I'm with you on prog rock/metal, I love stuff like Savatage, Spock's Beard, Angra, Dream Theater, Fates Warning, all the good bands. I played keyboards in a Dream Theater cover band back in '99, we didn't last long though, we played about 4 gigs and nobody really cared for the music.

Hmm, I an't seem to do that, so we'll all just have to live with absolute favorires on this one.

Spock's Beard
Havn't heard of them, time for me to exercise my legal right to download anything on the internet...thank you supreme cout of Canada, thank you...

Ever heard of Sukshinder Shinda? I love the beats of his tunes.

edit: crap, I meant to make it multi-choice and show user selections. Maybe an admin can help?

I tried to help but I guess you can't edit those options after people have voted so I couldn't change it to multiple choice or make the votes public.

I did add a 'Blues' option since I like SRV, Clapton, BB King, Muddy Waters, etc.. Some of SRV's and Claptons stuff fits under the 'Rock' genre but a lot of other blues stuff doesn't.

I like all sorts of stuff, I went for Heavy Metal... I like stuff like Cradle of Filth, Dimmu Borgir, Satyricon, Children of Bodom, Norther etc. and then less-heavier bands like The 69 Eyes, HIM, Charon etc.

I voted for progressive rock/metal...though there is not an option for alternative rock. Classical music is my favorite but I listen to almost any kind of musical genre, except for pop and rap. I don't think rap is a kind of music at all. :naughty:

I was torn on what to vote for... because I listen to a little bit of everything... I try not to descriminate against certain styles of music. I just listen to talent.

I ended up voting for jazz... because of how technical jazz music is. Jazz is just a bunch of controlled chaos. I love it.

hmm, I would consider the so called "alternative" rock to just be rock. I certainly wouldn't call it progressive. I don't know why they ever called it alternative, it was mainstream, all the posers listened to it when I was in highschool. What was it an alternative to if it was the mainstream music?
