TheBigDog Posted January 2, 2006 Report Posted January 2, 2006 The other day I was showing Google Earth to my neighbor. As part of the demonstration I very arbitrarily zoomed in on Madagascar. And what was under my nose? What appeared to be a very large crater. It looked like an impact crater and was not marked by the program as a volcano! Of course I didn't record the coordinates, and have not been able to find it again, but I am still trying. Has anyone come across an amazing sight on one of these satellite programs? Here are the coordinates for Meteor Crater in AZ. 35 01 36.67N 111 01 20.10W I am interested in finding other impact craters if you know where they may be. Check out Mt Saint Helens too. Awesome.
