Tarantism Posted January 9, 2006 Report Posted January 9, 2006 im pretty sure that sol is the most common name for the sun besides "sun". i can go with sol, luna and then one for the earth...any ideas? Quote
Tarantism Posted January 9, 2006 Report Posted January 9, 2006 ok so i read buffy's earlier post which states: the sun- sol, the moon- luna, the earth- terra and so that answers my last post's question. Quote
Jay-qu Posted January 9, 2006 Report Posted January 9, 2006 Earth sounds fine as a planet name without the 'the' in front, terra just sounds weird... Quote
Boerseun Posted January 10, 2006 Report Posted January 10, 2006 How about "Nesbert the Terrible"? Then we can tell the kids about how he kills little kids and suck their blood out (after tickling them senseless), but only when it's full moon - then Nesbert is wide awake. Then we can laugh at the little kids going hysterical when we lock them outside the house on moonlit nights, by 'accident', of course. Yeah - I'll change my vote to "Nesbert the Terrible". Quote
Tarantism Posted January 10, 2006 Report Posted January 10, 2006 haha nesbert would be menacing indeed! were we voting? my ballot went in worng. i want a recount. what? no recount? but iw anted to recount the votes! bob dole says... Quote
