Queso Posted January 10, 2006 Report Posted January 10, 2006 Welcome, I would like for you to take this thread completely seriously, with that said- This is an experiment. The first step is: I want you to think about something you desire anything, . . . . . . What are some of your desires? Why are they even considered...desires? Why aren't these things that are desired just become aquired?fulfillment of life, carpe diem, ka pish? (SP) . . . . ok so i dare you to go and try as hard as you can to achieve something you desire. I TRIPPLE DOGGY DARE YOU seriously, go do it.why not? what else are ya gonna do? sit there and be comfortable? if anyone chooses to participate, please post your results below. PEACE:phones: Quote

Queso Posted January 10, 2006 Author Report Posted January 10, 2006 there are still ways, and there are ways in motion. Quote
Tarantism Posted January 10, 2006 Report Posted January 10, 2006 are you talking about worldly desires or something more unaquireable. i desire knowlege of the universe and its workings and mysteries. these things take time. Quote
Jay-qu Posted January 10, 2006 Report Posted January 10, 2006 Well the first thing that came to mind is a drink - damm I'm thirsty, that was easy:D but when it comes to other desires such as live forever it gets a little tricky:( I'll get back to you on that last one... Quote
Queso Posted January 11, 2006 Author Report Posted January 11, 2006 yawwwwn, yeah i feel ya. i tried, and got nuthin- better luck next year, gramps. Quote
Tarantism Posted September 7, 2006 Report Posted September 7, 2006 i now see the point of this experiment. the idea is that we can infact acieve anything we wish to achieve in this world, it will not simply appear before us, but with enough effort, it can infact become real. well, besides unrealistic things like living forever, which is currently an inplausability. with that, may this thread rest in peace.
