Dweezle Posted March 11, 2006 Report Posted March 11, 2006 Balance is when I have more in my checking account than I do in writ checks.!Hate when those things turn rubber:hyper: Quote
Queso Posted March 11, 2006 Author Report Posted March 11, 2006 Fair enough, I guess we were in the mood for different games. when it comes to games,I like to pretend telepathy is possible.Or climb a tree,Devise a plan to spook everybody out of San Jose, Or chess, ya dig? Oh yeah and I need my string fix with Moogerfooger after that.Creatin' all these alien sounds allowing them to flow through me yielding a state of Nirvana after a good session with my Les Paul. :) Quote
Drip Curl Magic Posted March 11, 2006 Report Posted March 11, 2006 I started playing a new game recently. The object of the game is to laugh at as many things as possible. Any little thing that is normally accepted as a normal human action, I try to look at from an alien point of view. And I laugh at myself and other people. I get vibes when I do this. Flashbacks. Acid vibes. A split second of un-biased observation. it's amazing. Quote

Balance is achieved in the case you present by employing a little balancer I like to call "the tree god". Follow carefully this recipe:secure (find) a smallish disposable loudspeakersecure a long length of speaker wire (about 100 feet shold do it!?)attach one end of wire to speaker, then climb with it up a nearby tree (preferably by sidewalk)fasten speaker to tree in hidden positionconnect other end to computer, PA, tape, etc. inside housepeek out window until passerby appears, then play various sounds from hidden speaker very fun(ny)! Yeah...tree god...that's the ticket for balance.;) Quote
Queso Posted March 11, 2006 Author Report Posted March 11, 2006 Oh i couldn't agree with you more.I need to give that a shot,Usually I throw smoke bombs,or small pebbles.Bark, even.Whatever I can-BUT SOUND!?Genius, have you ever actually done it,or are you all talk, aye?Got a new glass bowl,Named it Pedro,San Pedro. Turtle Posted March 11, 2006 Report Posted March 11, 2006 Genius, have you ever actually done it,or are you all talk, aye?Got a new glass bowl,Named it Pedro,San Pedro. Hola Pedro.Si, I have done eet. I once played a mewing cat & drew a crowd of 4 old people straining to see the kitty they clearly heard. Just when they'd turn to go, I played it again. They finally lost interest & walked away shaking their heads & shrugging their shoulders at the mystery. I kept them under that tree for at least 8 minutes though.;) ;) :) Interactivity is the key. Playing the right sound at the right time. Goal, get people to linger, talk back, etc. The synthesizer demon voice works great for the paper carrier and or anyone. :) Quote
Drip Curl Magic Posted March 15, 2006 Report Posted March 15, 2006 I was watching animal planet. And it was going down a list of animals with weird adaptions. First they explained why the adaption was good. But with every animal on the countdown, there was always a downfall to having this adaption. Like the peacock. More "eyes" on the males feathers means he has less parasites and is more attractive to females. But the downside is, they can't quite fly as well. which makes them easier prey. Every aspect of nature is balanced out so that no gene ever becomes overly dominant. The balance is everywhere. Quote

Drip Curl Magic Posted March 20, 2006 Report Posted March 20, 2006 another thing. There is this wild bore of some sort. That has two horns growing out of it's snout. The bores with the longest horns, usually get more attential from the ladies.:singer: downside is, sometimes, if these horns aren't broken off in a fight with another male, they will sometimes end up growing into the pig's skull. causing serious irritation/injury and even death.:umbrella: another balancing act. Loricybin Posted March 21, 2006 Report Posted March 21, 2006 a "wild bore" eh?sounds like an oxymoron to ME.:naughty: unless of course it's a wild BOAR.just teasing. Quote
