I'm sort of torn between two answers here, in that I never get drunk, and I only occasionally drink occasionally. What does I drink socially mean?

You know, I am surprised that the highest number of votes went to "never drink." Whenever I mention that I don't drink, people around me always seem to go, "what, really? none at all? Woah!" Kind of neat that so many of us either don't drink or (at least claim to) drink very little. Relatively. Hm. Just a thought. :cocktail:

No. I turn 18 in a few weeks and I'm not sure about other countries but here it is cause for celebration - one with copious amounts of fermented carbohydrates.

I drink about twice a year. I am a lightweight so I feel the effects, I wouldn't drive but I don't know that I would call it drunk.

On top of that I started on medication that isn't good for my liver, so now I drink even less.

 

edit: when I do drink though it is B&B, yummmm ;)

Last year I got drunk.. once.. I went to a strip in a pub.. usually Dan (driver) stands back while I perform.. however in this instance he was outside talking with the in laws of the stag boy.. little did he know.. while he was outside.. I was inside dancing around shot glasses and downing them one after the other.. lmao I had such a good time.. I was absolutely totalled by the time I left the strip much to Dan's horror.. no-one has ever seen me in that state in the 6 years I have worked there.. The end result was.. I worked for the rest of the night.. albeit drunk for a few hours.. and well looked after..

 

One of the reasons I dont drink is because of the in-ability to be in control.. and especially in the industry I work.. its not a good thing to be drinking..

I don't drink and I don't want to either. I probably will in extreme moderation in the future but I won't ever get drunk, because it's embarassing and damaging. You can still have fun even if you aren't drunk or drinking! :lol:
