Boerseun Posted April 9, 2006 Author Report Posted April 9, 2006 When someone gives you a web address, and they tell you:"Go to double-you double-you double-you dot blah blah blah dot com."where the double-you bit is short for world-wide-web, which is actually much, much shorter than the very popular abbreviation...:) Quote
Queso Posted April 9, 2006 Report Posted April 9, 2006 Oh yeah admitting to speeding on a thread!!! (also pretty stupid..eh!!!!!) not really,I've admitted to things much more hefty when it comes to the law on here.We are Alias's. I think driving drunk is really stupid. I got so drunk one night, I really believed I could drive. So I got in my car and backed right into a pole. That was verrrrry stupid. Quote

Boerseun Posted April 11, 2006 Author Report Posted April 11, 2006 Going steady with a stripper is dumb! And costly! You have to install a pole in your bedroom! And, she doesn't want a tip, she wants the whole thing! Quote
InfiniteNow Posted April 11, 2006 Report Posted April 11, 2006 Going steady with a stripper is dumb! And costly! To make such a blatant generalization... [speakingfromexperience] Most strippers have plenty of their own cash, and don't mind spending on their man if he makes them feel like more than "just a stripper." Yup. which is one of the nice things about it! My ex-stripper always had more money than me. :gift: :shade:--->>> :omg: :unlove:  Until you peel away the layers and find all the Fun Neurosis and issues with Dad! But most of them just do it to pay for School! (and drug habits that enable them to get back on stage; oh and kids they almost always have) There is no exact formula for strippers for sure. And I ain't tryin' to figure it out either... Its still Dumb. Quote

GAHD Posted April 14, 2006 Report Posted April 14, 2006 Thnk that just because they're a cop they can mouth-off when off duty and drinking at a bar("Oh Yeah? I'm a COP! What are you gonna do NOW?"). Two words: OUT COLD. Allow any Officer to attempt to detain you without first getting their precinct and badge number written down(I don't care WHO I look like, Your badge number gets given to me and you explain yourself before you even THINK about asking me for I.D.). Act tough to an officer when you're off-camera (ATMs, and gas-bar surveilance cameras count) lest they put their badge down for a minute and "fail to catch several phonebooks that happened to fall out of the sky". two more parting words: teenage parents Quote

niviene Posted April 22, 2006 Report Posted April 22, 2006 ...and, after some Big Event happened on screen, like a huge explosion or some sort of ground-breaking new special effect, saying "Did you see that?"Come on. "No, MF, I've been staring at the guy in front of me's head." LOLBo - my father does that to me constantly. I have nearly given up watching a movie with him. It's either that, or during the movie he'll see an actor that he remembers from some other movie 60 years ago (or that actor's cousin/roommate/cat/distant relative) and go off into a speech about, "Oh, hey! It's (XXXX), and they were in (....) movie with (insert long, drawn out list of other ancient actors)...." Meanwhile, I'm missing the movie because I can't hear it over his loud booming voice. And it's more annoying when he's telling me something I already know. And the snobs wonder why "Cops" and "World's stupidest drivers" get such good ratings... This stuff is hilarious! Ya gonna miss this when you get to the DA's office, Niv? Yes!!! I know it's rediculous, but yes, I'm going to miss it, I already know. I'm sure I'll never get to have as much fun with it. I'm working up the nerve to do something "super trooperish" before I resign ;) "Littering and...? Littering and....? Littering and......?" Here's another great one - several days ago, a guy is drunk and walking down the street and stumbles out into traffic and gets hit by a car. He wakes up in the hospital, his family is there (and being quite hostile to the staff)....I go in, start writing down his info, etc - meanwhile, the family is telling me about this guy who hit him with the car. They proclaim that I "must do something about it!!" I smile and say I am - here is your citation for failing to use the crosswalks, and you are responsible for paying for the damage to the vehicle. :) And, around 4am this morning I had to go to a hospital to arrest a drunk man for urinating in the lobby's drinking fountain. The security there had it all close up zoomed in on camera and all... LOL! I don't know how I avoid getting the amount of complaints on me I should have, but I can get in some good little jabs on people who make a living out of being horrible to everyone else. Nothing wrong with just being dumb - everybody has a right to that - but dumb and mean (or just drunk!) and caught on tape just adds up to a bunch of fun! ;) Quote
