whatdoiknowanyway Posted February 2, 2006 Author Report Posted February 2, 2006 Hello Guadalupe. Thanks for the welcome. Pancho Villa eh? Bandit or Freedom Fighter. I would have loved to hear those stories. Not sure about the Tequila though. Can't see myself chewing on a pickled worm.:hihi: Not that it would trouble my younger sons, they'd try anything just for the experience. Quote

That's for the Pinche Gringo Bendehos... Quote

Guadalupe Posted February 3, 2006 Report Posted February 3, 2006 Hello Guadalupe. Thanks for the welcome. Pancho Villa eh? Bandit or Freedom Fighter. I would have loved to hear those stories. Can't see myself chewing on a pickled worm. Not that it would trouble my younger sons, they'd try anything just for the experience.:hihi: Hi! whatdoiknowanyway. On my first book called, “Guerra’s Law”, mentions one of his stories that goes like this: There was a time, when sitting around the kitchen table, my grandfather would tell me stories about how he would travel by way of stagecoach to get to a nearby town to deposit his hard earn wages at the local bank. When he handed the money over to the bank teller, he remembered that the teller had made a comment about how the money had a funny smell to it, as he was counting it. My grandfather, without saying a word, bowed his head with a smile as though making an apology. The reason why the money had a funny smell to it was because in those days, stagecoaches were being robbed and my grandfather would hide the money in his boots. ;) In loving memory of my grandfather. ;) ;) Quote
