Buffy Posted March 6, 2006 Report Posted March 6, 2006 "The Italian job" loved the dirty tricks that the hacker pulled!!! :hyper:I'll second that, not because Seth Green plays the hacker (woot! Oz!) but because I like to drive like Stella Bridger! Vroom! :steering:Buffy Quote

InfiniteNow Posted March 6, 2006 Report Posted March 6, 2006 I've heard good things about "City of God," but haven't yet seen it. Anyone here concur or disagree with the assessment I've heard re: this film? Quote
ingannilo Posted March 7, 2006 Report Posted March 7, 2006 I'm passionatly anti-media, but the films I embrace, nevertheless are: -The Day The Earth Stood Still-Blazing Saddles-Shawshank Redemption-Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind but no movie have I seen more times than Flight of the Navigator.Baby of the eighties.what can I say? Buffy Posted March 20, 2006 Report Posted March 20, 2006 This weeks rentals: The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants: A chick flick! Augh! We girls will drive you boys nuts! This is a good, not great one. Boys are not allowed. Sky High: Silly, formulaic and a waste of Kelly Preston and even Kurt Russell (he hasn't done a movie this bad since "The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes") Valiant: We got it and didn't watch it. Maybe next week.... Sin City: Great if you like this sort of thing, and occasionally I do :umbrella: 21st century Film Noir. I may even finally get to like Mickey Rourke, but Benecio is to die for, Alexis Bledel doing the anti-Rory Gilmore is priceless, and I've always liked Brittany Murphy: she reminds me of me.... Next week we go out: She's the Man (already out in most places) with Amanda Bynes (yay! Amanda!) doing an update of Shakey's "Twelfth Night"...a thinking girl's chick flick! Oh, sugar, you just gone and done the dumbest thing in your whole life, :singer:Buffy Quote

InfiniteNow Posted April 3, 2006 Report Posted April 3, 2006 Nope... haven't yet. Then again, haven't had time to watch a movie in about 5 months. I only post here because of all of the dead time I have at work... Will certainly need to check it out though. Your recommendation on martial arts movies means something to me. :cup: Quote
InfiniteNow Posted April 3, 2006 Report Posted April 3, 2006 Lucia y el Sexo is by far my recommendation as one of the greatest movies of all time. Quote
