inside the sun Posted March 2, 2006 Author Report Posted March 2, 2006 god exists becuase unfortunately we need something higher than ourselves to get away from addictions, to do things that are "right" and to live. Quote
InfiniteNow Posted March 2, 2006 Report Posted March 2, 2006 The gender non-specific concept of God exists. This is clear becuase it is a concept we are discussing here. It's that simple. While this might not be the normal living/breathing/thinking/dying nature of existence to which most are accustomed, it is existence all the same... Now, if you expand your reasoning from there, you start to venture into the realm of the unprovable... into "faith." Quote

arkain101 Posted March 2, 2006 Report Posted March 2, 2006 God exists because everything you see is god. The word god means universe. The universe is made of god. We are made of god, and our consciousness is god. We are co-creators that add existence to an otherwise ultimate void of nothingness. In our 'now' moment which is all the time and only time we are (we as in, our inner god fragment, some kind of devine sector) creating the colors that were 'assigned' to specific frequencies, we are creating emotion, a sensation within ourselves, we are creating sound and sense. Our body picks up these energies and our us gives them a purpose. This is truth. I have a question, Does anyone else seem to have the ability to see energy or some kind of ghostly, bluish-white streaker that follows objects? I find it is remarkable more noticeable in certain areas, such as; near a tv or computer screen, or in social gathering events. I noticed that it is only 'attatched' to matter / visible when you dont move your eyes and only the object moves. If you do track the object with your eye, the streaker (or maybe better described as a faint dimension very transparent) will travel in the opposite direction from your starting point. So in other words if I move my hand from down low to towards my face and keep my eyes focused and tracking it, a ghost figure hand will duplicate and move dowards as if a mirror was placed where my hand started. If I dont watch my hand a delayed replicant of it will follow behind at varying speeds. Some days/places it follows very quick and with little delay. Other times it takes a second or so before it will appear and duplicate movement, and when it does it moves very slowly and is very visible. Although it can only be seen in this way when my eyes are rested, kind of in my perifial vision. It seems very hard to notice any of this when I track objects with my eyes. It seems also certain objects do it more visually than others. Especially humans. Am I the only one.. and if so, what in the world do you think this is? It does not look as though it is part of matter or energy.. it seems like I am seeing it in my mind and it really isnt in the world.. however.. its pretty cool. Quote

An inflexibility in your rods and cones, so to speak, in that they retain the input longer than they should.I would advise you to go and see your doctor, and let them test your blood-sugar levels. The onset of type 2 diabetes normally starts with problems with your eyesight, similar to what you describe, because of insufficient blood-flow to capilaries. Next thing to go would be the feeling in your extremities, your toes and fingers. As to energy, I can almost guarantee you that that is not the case. Go see your local quack. Quote

I noticed that it is only 'attatched' to matter / visible when you dont move your eyes and only the object moves. While it's extremely possible that your eyes are more sensitive to certain wavelengths than the eyes of someone else, the most likely explanation is in your interpretation of the incoming data. See the following illusion for clarification of my point: Try to count the number of black dots on the image below... http://eyetricks.com/0101.htm The image remains the same, it's our interpretation which makes it change. Visual is an interesting sense in that the incoming stimuli is processed throughout several regions of the brain, not just the occipital cortex. It's once the frontal cortex comes into play, and ties the data into the center of the brain (the emotional centers or reptilian brain) that the interpretation can start a whole ripple effect of strangeness. Lots of people report being able to see someone's "aura," but many times it's because they want to see it that it appears... Quote
InfiniteNow Posted March 2, 2006 Report Posted March 2, 2006 Here's another good one a bit more appropriate to the thread: Stare at the four black dots in the center of the image for 30 - 60 seconds. Then quickly close your eyes and look at something bright (like a lamp or a window with sunlight coming through it). You should see a white circle with an image inside it. http://www.eyetricks.com/jesus.htm SOURCE: http://www.eyetricks.com Quote

arkain101 Posted March 2, 2006 Report Posted March 2, 2006 I've seen that jesus thing before. That one is a little different, seems to have more detail though. I stared at it, and yah, the after image was impressive. It didnt matter where I looked, light or dark areas, a very clear and blueish-white glowing image engulphed my vision, it almost looked 3 dimensional lol.. I swear being near a computer screen or TV really adds to the after image intensity. I noticed something very different between that image and the thing I see. After starting at the image I see what your supposed to see, a copy of the image that seems to be in contrast of shade. But what I am seeing on objects is ONLY an outline shape of whatever shape I am seeing. It can NOT be seen when I look at it, and only when I try not to use my eyes, (like when your listening really hard for a sound, you stop looking even with your eyes open). Where as, this kind of after image affect is visible if I look at it, focus, or unfocus.. its just there. I am seeing a much different thing and some places just does not have it.. other areas it is much more intense. I was experimenting with a cup, a black one (where as white works best). And I was looking into the empty cup. When I pulled the cup towards my eyes a blue ring would form around the cups edge and as it came closer the ring would fallingo the cup and shrink, then kind of spring back and grow and re-attatch back to the cup. And when moveing down a ring would form and follow the cup down larger than the cup. Although I suppse that the ring stays the same size, and it is the distance of the cup creating the illusion the ring is changing size. I think I am pretty healthy, my eyes see good, and I've noticed this thing for around 10 years.. since I was 12 or so.I guess I should check up with an eye doc. Thanks for the mention about diabetes, I will look into it. Quote
InfiniteNow Posted March 2, 2006 Report Posted March 2, 2006 Diabetes would relate to a nerve problem called diabetic retinopathy. More likely candidates are blood pressure and caffiene intake. Or also, pre-migraine symptoms. However, if you want to look into a less scientifically supported possibility, here ya go: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aura_%28paranormal%29 Quote
