Actually, the speed of light in an ideal vacuum is exactly, precisely equal to 1.

Me confused now too :eek2:

1 what?

Exclusion Principle - first set out by Wolfgang Paulie (for electrons), the condition that no two like "fermions" (e.g. two protons and two electrons) in an Atom may occupy the same quantum level at the same time, i.e., they may not have identical sets of "quantum numbers"...

more Facts Folks:

Aquariums have been proven to reduce stress and enhance calm.

(except that is for the the owner and/or person in charge of maintaining them!)

This is a fact and a proven one as well. It has been figured out that placing aquariums in high stress areas such as doctors' and dentists' waiting rooms reduces patient anxiety. In retirement homes as well.

This is also a fact! One that sucks royally but a fact nontheless!!

It is commonly believed children that are physicly and/or sexually abused will be very likely to grow up and do the same. (And they are often discriminated against for this very reason! Even if they don't display any tendency towards such behavior)

1 Rad (rd - Radiation Dose) = 0.01 J of energy absorbed per kg.

1 Joule (J) = the work of 1 newton through a distance of 1 meter.

1 Newton (N) = force that will accelerate 1 kg mass at 1m/sec^2

quarky,

?? I thought 1 newton was the force required to hold one gram suspended against the force of gravity? =9.8m/s^2 acelleration per g?

F = m a :: 1kg accelerated at 1m/s/s :evil: or 1g accelerated 1000m/s/s

I believe it DD

I have had a couple of aquariums.

Red Tail Sharks and other fish in a tropical aquarium :smart:

And a Goldfish aquarium w/ Black moores..;)

You are Right on both counts.

*Pulsar* - an astronomical source of sharply periodic radio emissions; believed to be rotating neutron stars with jetlike interaction of ionized material at its poles.!

If food is not a problem, and all the offspring survive, a single bacterium left to its own devices will divide, feed, grow, divide, feed, grow, etc.

The thing is, within only 185 generations, it will weigh as much as the Milky Way Galaxy!

Baryon: A relatively heavy elemental particle,

like the proton or neutron

Both about 1,836 times more massive than the Electron, which is "Lepton"(lightweight).

Baryons are "Fermions"
