Pyrotex Posted April 26, 2006 Report Posted April 26, 2006 :hihi: No problem, I hear they need crash test dummies for a new launcher rocket.Grrrrrrr... :) Now, now, Tormod. It is well known that I am a very sensitive fellow, far too ephemeral to be involved in vulgar crashes. Zounds, that might warp my delicate attitude for just days at a time, dontcha know. I am FAR more suited to be... say... your boss!!!     :omg: :cup: Quote
Aphotick Posted May 3, 2006 Report Posted May 3, 2006 The fact that I struggle the most in life with myself or thoughts and am unable to solve or conclude most of them. It's driving me crazy. Quote
Racoon Posted May 3, 2006 Author Report Posted May 3, 2006 The fact that I struggle the most in life with myself or thoughts and am unable to solve or conclude most of them. It's driving me crazy. What bugs me is the size of your font! :) Get over it. Life wasn't meant to be a bed full of roses all the time. :) I suggest you take up Gardening or a hobby. Downward spirals get you no-where...You think that other people don't have big problems too? When the going gets tough, the tough get going... Quote
Buffy Posted May 3, 2006 Report Posted May 3, 2006 Turn offs: Judgemental people. :) When you're 15 its fun to wallow and you can get away with it in a way that we grown ups don't get to cuz we gotta be all, ya know, grown up! Don't sweat the small fonts, and its all small fonts, :)Buffy Quote
Loricybin Posted May 3, 2006 Report Posted May 3, 2006 what's been bugging me lately is people who contradict themselves.someone who decides it is not a good idea to do something, decides they won't do that thing out loud, and internally are prepared to do it again. not a good habit to get into, especially if you're trying to keep yourself out of serious harm's way Quote

Aphotick Posted May 5, 2006 Report Posted May 5, 2006 I'm probably one of those most aware of life's ability to be dreary as much as it can lovely at times. It's just with the thoughts I have, it's not best to be unable to make final decisions or ever settle a thought. It's very bad, hahah. I don't know about that whole gardening/hobby idea... I think my situation is a bit different than what you may have thought. I've tried many times to get out of this spiral of course. But thank you for the suggestions. <3. Quote
InfiniteNow Posted May 5, 2006 Report Posted May 5, 2006 I've tried many times to get out of this spiral of course. But thank you for the suggestions. <3.Perhaps you should read something a bit more "uplifting" than "The Ethics of Ambiguity." I dunno, something like "The Art of Happiness http://www.amazon.com/gp/reader/1573221112/ref=sib_dp_pt/002-6372068-4185648#reader-link." If you are really stubborn and really want to stay with the existential philosophy, give "The Courage to Be," by Paul Tillich a try. Cheers. :) Quote
Aphotick Posted May 6, 2006 Report Posted May 6, 2006 Yeah, I'm reading a few books with more of a happy theme to them as well. Guess I'm stubborn alright. Quote
Boerseun Posted May 6, 2006 Report Posted May 6, 2006 Procrastination bugs the hell outta me. Which is quite a problem, seeing as I am the offical 2006 World Champion Procrastinator. Quote
Pyrotex Posted May 8, 2006 Report Posted May 8, 2006 Procrastination bugs the hell outta me. Which is quite a problem, seeing as I am the ...World Champion...You?! :naughty: The World Champ?! Sorry, but you are way too timely in your responses to Hypography to be the WC. Besides, I think I would leave you in the dust. My procrastination is so bad, that my sub-conscious causes me to "lose" my lists of tasks to do--AND my calendar. I always find my calendar the day after some important event that I missed. Every now and then, I discover a hidden pocket in my wallet that I have never seen. I open it and it is FULL of valuable coupons for items I buy all the time. They are ALL expired. ;) I almost always file for time extension on my taxes and do them in August. Even though I almost always get a refund. THAT'S procrastination!!!! Quote
