InfiniteNow Posted March 12, 2006 Report Posted March 12, 2006 I assumed from the "AHHHHHH..." that it was better. I think this might be REALLY dangerous, but you might try plugging your nose with your fingers and closing your eyes, then exhale forcefully as if you were trying to push air through the ear... If your eardrum explodes though, that could be bad... Quote
Queso Posted March 12, 2006 Author Report Posted March 12, 2006 ive done this, numerous times. Nothing. Quote
InfiniteNow Posted March 12, 2006 Report Posted March 12, 2006 Here's another DANGEROUS idea... Cup your hand over the ear and form a seal. Then, like a plunger in a toilet, pop it... You could do some serious damage though, and may just want to see an MD... Quote
Drip Curl Magic Posted March 13, 2006 Report Posted March 13, 2006 if I remember correctly, you can have a doctor shoot some saline stuff into your ear... and TONS of earwax will just drip out. My father had this done a few years ago... He was nearly deaf for a while. And it was all from wax build up. He's got perfectly normal hearing now. I dunno if doctors do this willingly, though. I think it might be one of those things that doctors only suggest you get done once or twice in a lifetime. Quote
GAHD Posted March 13, 2006 Report Posted March 13, 2006 Go swimming, or get in a hot bath/shower and soak that ear, Then try the close nose & eyes & inhale/exhale forcefully. Maby you're lucky and you got that tick you were worried about....In your EAR! Quote
