Favorite Pizza ??

I'm the only one that voted for plain cheese pizza. I'm so boring.

 

This should have been a multiple choice vote, though, because I love many different types of pizza. Especially home-made, with good ingrediants.

 

any kind of meat, minus bacon.

 

lots of cheese.

 

tomato sauce spiced from scratch.

 

But honestly, I'll eat just about any kind of pizza. Even if it makes my back end explode the next morning.

Actually, whenever I decide to try a new pizza place, I ALWAYS order plain cheese. It's the absolute best way to tell just how good it is (or isn't :eek2:). It's only after I've eaten there a few times that I'll start messing with it (or, if I have no intention of going back and just have a hankering for something on top like eggplant...) :)

dont like to eat pizzas if there is a choice, however every now and then some slippage occurs, in which case, no matter who ordered, it usually isnt too incredibly healthy anyways, so i'll go for anything...

but it is not my personal choice for friday knights (usually a 14 ounce cut of sirloin with extra spices and a baked potato with cheese, sour cream, bacon and herbs, all nicely spiced up..... mmm local outback where everyone knows the people i go with)

ps anyone tell me what the closest thing for me to answer would be, cuz i'd say that this is a chioce that is not offered to me...

I'll have to remember to order a feta/cheddar/parmesan/monteray jack pizza the next time I call, see what such vast mounts of cheesyness do to me.

Heres a Trick Racoon uses when the budget is tight...

 

At the grocery store:

Buy a decent frozen pizza.

Go to the produce section and pick up: a bell pepper, an onion, small bit of white mushrooms, and a small can of olives. (~$3 -4 usually)

 

Add the Extra sliced ingredients to the frozen pizza, along w/ a little extra cheese from the fridge (ie parmesan, cheddar...)

And NOW you have a Deluxe!! :eek2: instead of a crappy frozen job.

 

Of course for the price of THAT, you're only a few more bucks away from a good take n' bake or Restaraunt pizza!

 

I like mine w/ lots of veggies! I don't feel so sluggish afterwords :)

I dont c the difference between pizzas they are all the same for me :pirate: but if i really had to choose it had to b meat lovers...:confused: the melt in you mouth senstion it starts at your lips, then on your tongue, then in you stomach thats when the warm sensation hits you yummo :rolleyes: :surprise: :shocked: yummy yummy for my tummy:lol:

I had a great pizza the other day! It was called 'The Greek' and had lamb, fetta cheese, chunks of tomato and a few other little bits and pieces. mmmm pizza

I voted "meat lovers", although I mainly prefer just pepperoni.

There is nothing better than eating an entire large, thin-crust pepperoni pizza by yourself after a cross country meet.

My favorite pizza is the kind I make myself.

A little light on the tomato sauce, at least 3 different types of cheese and lots of meat.

Or, every once in a while lots-o-cheese and double (or triple) pepporoni:)

It's been a few years but ummm ... I can still remember the pizza from Jersey. There was nothing like the stuff you could get in Dover. lol, if it was possible, I'd call an order in and have them air mail to Michigan.
