Dream Machine

Recommended Posts

Ok, so first off

whoever closed this thread last night:

http://hypography.com/forums/philosophy-humanities/474-astral-projection-4.html

is my mortal enemy.:)

With that said,

I want-

No

I need to build a Dream Machine.

Who's got some information?

C'mon,

what kind of light bulbs do they use?

any specific design?

Or is it just a furry thing with holes that spins?

Are there certain things I need to keep in mind?

Or is it straight forward?

HELP HELP HELP HELPEPPLELPELPEPLEPLEPLELEPEPLEPLPLEPLE:confused:

I'm always listening :)

How about this one?

Might fry a few brain cells, but what they hey...

I will remind you though that its a well known fact that marygeewhana *inhibits* REM sleep. Stay off it for a few months and you will magically see very vivid dreams re-appear....

Happy trails to you,

I had to downscale it a bit,

I don't know how that will affect the way it works.

Also,

It's running on a 45 record player, not a 78

I've only looked into it for 5 minutes and saw insane kaleidoscopes....

my eyes were in REM mode,

and when i opened them I felt SURREAL.

Later on when I'm high I plan on some heavy meditation, I'll let you know how that goes.

It's so weird though,

I highly suggest most of you to take a day off and build one of these.

It's fun...and so strange.

If you left out slots when you downscaled, then it will affect the flash frequency; need more specificity on how you acomplished the scaling

The instructions say to add extra row(s) of slots if you run it at 45RPM.

While the setup in general will produce a stroboscopic effect, following the instructions exactly is a must to produce the exact frequency they have under study.

I have built similar apparatus using cardboard disks with different sizes & spacings of holes.

Try playing the guitar to the light; that oughta do it.
