Queso Posted March 27, 2006 Report Posted March 27, 2006 I would weigh 161.7~lb in the linear column of Podkletnov's machine, instead of 165. Knowledge aquired. Intense stuff. Quote
UncleAl Posted March 27, 2006 Report Posted March 27, 2006 I'm not saying that it didn't happen. I'm saying there is no convincing proof that it did happen. The results are suspect and the apparatus was poor. They'll need way more than that to ding Einstein. Do it again and do it better. There are 300 million people in the US. One-in-a-million happenstances constantly bombard us. Proximity does not enforce causality. The only acceptible science is a sure bet. Faith is rotted optimism. Quote
Pyrotex Posted March 27, 2006 Report Posted March 27, 2006 looks like some one finally made some "real" artificial gravity. heres the link:http://www.technovelgy.com/ct/Science-Fiction-News.asp?NewsNum=579...Interesting.The purported gravitational force was only 3 times their "expected" error limits. Still pretty close. I'll believe it when I see someone else confirm it on their own equipment. Quote
