If you're doing it with every other chick just to get them into bed with you, it ain't gonna get you much forward in life. If you can't get them into bed without deliberately resorting to tricks and expedients, maybe your "decent impression" wasn't quite decent enough. Sure, girls sometimes play hard-to-get and might need their excess of self confidence shaken, but that ain't a reason to systematically do the opposite, instead of knowing how to be appreciated. Unless you have no other way of being appreciated...

There's nothing wrong with advising a young guy, who is interested in a girl but having trouble, that he might need to not fawn over her and show he thinks of nothing else. Pushing keys on the human keyboard is a totally different matter.

 

Whether or not you have sex doesn't concern me, abstension isn't healthy, I believe it's good to have experience with various partners before trying to settle down seriously. By experience I don't mean exactly that kind of skillz.

This thread is starting to remind me a bit of C1ay's recent population question...

 

Our youth seems interested in copulation instead of emotional relationships in greater percentages with each passing day. Is this some unconscious desire to have as many of our genes passed on, thus maximizing survival once the "bubble" pops?

 

If the world goes blammo, I'd have a better chance of passing on my genes if I had 10 kids instead of just one, so I might be inclined to look for the short "hook-ups" in greater numbers... :D

There was a wonderful and hilarious picture being passed around in NASA circles a few years ago. It showed two honking big electronics cases in an equipment rack. The sign at the top said, "Human Simulators".

 

The first case had a small sign on it that said, "Woman". It was covered in dials, guages, buttons, switches, frobnicators, twiddlers, lights, meters.

 

The second case had a small sign on it that said, "Man". In the center was a single switch, labeled, "ON" and "OFF".
