Pyrotex Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 This is outrageous!Where is the world headed to?Okay, shoot me for a three-legged horse if I'm wrong, but...Most of today's children are not being parented. They have no one at home who gives a damn if they behave well or beat up other students for their lunch money. They have no one at home who monitors their behavior, their choices of fiends... errr... I meant "friends", the aromas coming out of their locked bedroom doors, or their language. There is no one home to set standards and enforce them. Somebody has to do it. It ain't the churches or the police. And if the parents won't (or can't) do it, then it falls to the schools. Pity. ronthepon Posted May 24, 2006 Report Posted May 24, 2006 But then, how can the school decide which kid needs to be taken 'care' of? Personally, I have fallen in such tangled fields. Quote
