Racoon Posted March 28, 2006 Report Posted March 28, 2006 America has a Ton of Problems. We all see/hear them every day!But we are surrounded by blessings and opportunity...I really do believe in Word Power and Positive Thinking! This is gonna' be a NICE little thread about the Good Things! :) What do You Love about America? (even if you happen to live in a foreign country)What are You Thankful for?? Heres a chance for you to "Stop and Smell the Roses" :) :ip:  I love taking my dog for a walk down nice Suburban streets; and seeing all the activity of people mowing yards, kids playing in the streets, and Grown-ups on the porch talking over some Ice Tea! :dog: ;) :hihi: I am Thankful for the Men who died for our Liberties in War. God Bless 'em!and I am Thankful for the "Greatest Generation", of which my Granfather was before he died about a month ago! Quote
Queso Posted March 29, 2006 Report Posted March 29, 2006 I'm thankful that I can sit down with a guitar and transcend my purest feelings thru the air,and to your eyes.Music's more aural with eyes that can spot the source. This case the F Hole or my 4 12" celestials. I'm not thankful to be alive because If i wasn't I wouldn't care because I wouldn't exist. I'm thankful for eyes, but i'm not going to thank any one, two or three. Quote
infamous Posted March 29, 2006 Report Posted March 29, 2006 I'm so very thankful for many things; The warmth of summer and the color it brings to nature. The smile of a beautiful girl looking my direction. The wonderful food spread out on that picknick table. The careful words from the one that loves you. Those special people in this world that truly care about their neighbors. And most of all: A father and mother that truly loved me..................Infy Quote
