hallenrm Posted March 29, 2006 Report Posted March 29, 2006 Sometimes I really wonder "what is the role of any individual in this large enterprise called 'science'" ? Is it just to be a consumer of its goods, just as in the market. How does a non scientist participate in this adventure, or is he only an audience, just as that of a tv show or cinema?:estrange: :) Quote
Queso Posted March 29, 2006 Report Posted March 29, 2006 Well first thing's firstHave a good time. Lots of fun.Lots of fun yields lots of free thoughts-Lots of epiphonys. Cha Ching Science is so much!I tweak with sound, and musiclike a scientistjust in a veryminor, casual manner. Maybe you can be your own scientistrun off into the forestand study bugs! Learn for yourself! Just learn things you love to learn about. What do you love to learn? Quote
Boerseun Posted March 29, 2006 Report Posted March 29, 2006 Of course a 'commoner' has a place in Science! Matter of fact, without a steady supply of 'commoners', Science will soon grind to a halt! It's called a 'test subject'!!! :) Quote

Thanks a lot Orbsyci:) But this is not what I meant,Where have my words went, I was thinking of the masses,of little children, who learn science by rote, just to pass an examination or two,to qualify in those competitive examinations,Just wondering how would they vote?
