Rsade Posted April 13, 2006 Report Posted April 13, 2006 Why self is important or the profound implications of mono reality. It seems that we only have a corporeal body to define ourselves as individuals. If we came into the world without a body then we all would be the same person so to speak. I feel that all of humanity is the same, and only the body and its attending needs gives us the illusion of being individuals. Comments? Yes I am strangely strange at times, but so is our fantastic universe. ; { > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`~~~~~~~~~``~~~~~~~~~````~~~~~~~~~~~~~``````````````People are strange when you're a stranger, Jim Morrison of Doors````````````````~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Quote
InfiniteNow Posted April 13, 2006 Report Posted April 13, 2006 I think your tone implies that this is coming from a good place, not some wall of ignorance or hatred. That's a start. However, if you want to explore this further, you need to consider the concept past just "humanity," and include all things. There is a "oneness" to it all, and all things truly are interconnected. However, there are certain vaguaries with regard to individuals and one's consciousness, etc... It's tough to fit the two paradigms together, but I applaud anyone who tries. Cheers. Quote
