Harry Costas Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 Hello all I thought this may be an interest to some. This I think is the observable universe containing the huge super cluster of super clusters of galaxies. http://astro.uwaterloo.ca/~mjhudson/research/threed/ This is so amazing that man could even map such super clsuters. How do they do it? Quote
Tormod Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 It is not the observable universe, but only a local part of it. But yeah, it's pretty cool stuff. Quote
Racoon Posted April 29, 2006 Report Posted April 29, 2006 There has to be life out there somewhere! All those Galaxies? It's implausible that Earth is it. :Alien: Its out there,Somewhere in a Super Dooper Cluster :D I just hope we find some of it before I die, or we kill ourselves in war... Looking at a graph like that, and to realize how many gazillion bazillion trillion miles/kilometers it really is. :) WOW! Astronomy is cool! This is fun stuff. :D Quote
Harry Costas Posted April 29, 2006 Author Report Posted April 29, 2006 Hello Tomod I think your right in that its not the total observable universe. Quote
