Buffy Posted May 4, 2006 Report Posted May 4, 2006 Well, ya don't *gotta* like it. Its different, and you can tap your toes to it. That's enough for me... He's not responsible for what he's doing, ;)Buffy Quote
Pyrotex Posted May 4, 2006 Report Posted May 4, 2006 Yeah it's like....redneck popWell, to give him credit, it's better than...popneck red. That stuff is just plain nasty. ;) Quote
InfiniteNow Posted May 4, 2006 Report Posted May 4, 2006 Everyone's a critic. Some like vanilla and others like chocolate. Jim, Thanks for sharing. Keep doing things that make you smile, and perhaps which add a smile to the face of those around you. Cheers. :cup: Quote
Buffy Posted May 4, 2006 Report Posted May 4, 2006 Thanks for sharing. Keep doing things that make you smile, and perhaps which add a smile to the face of those around you.Ditto! Strawberry or Pistachio,Buffy Quote

Queso Posted May 4, 2006 Report Posted May 4, 2006 at least I'm not kissing his *** and telling him he's the greatest!Truth, folks.Truth of opinions. Quote
Queso Posted May 4, 2006 Report Posted May 4, 2006 er, Yeah I guess that comes off as a little "harsh"But aye!I'm just ONE person, one person who severely critisizes musicBECAUSE I have an understanding for it! I have no interest in music like thatSo I typed my opinions.I always thought brotherly conduct was about honesty. HRMMMMTime to drink beer. Quote
Queso Posted May 4, 2006 Report Posted May 4, 2006 If I posted a song, (Here I am on post #4 for this thread. I really do post a lot, but it's not like this is a competition,It used to be, when Tormod made it one over a year agoOr a year agoOr something,But now it's just for kicks, accumulating) I would want everyone here to give me their true opinions, not just tell me "Oh yeah I like it!"I would Want to know what you don't like about it,and what you did like, too. If you did.And whoa there! That's just ONE HUMANS opinion.Ugh I don't even care what the rest think- Long day's work and you just want to saw them all in half, and record the screamsand put it in a song. Quote
Queso Posted May 4, 2006 Report Posted May 4, 2006 I saw a baby today bang two sticks on something wooden, or metal, I forget-And the baby began to chant gibberish in a pattern that DEARLY wished for stability! O He lit upfor the first time, Right therein my art store, where I work.I walked away and wrote about it on the internet. The desire to make music, it's beautifuland I want to say I respect anyone that has it... but I definitely won't say that. Quote
Turtle Posted May 4, 2006 Report Posted May 4, 2006 The point is rudeness. You blurt out"I hate' first thing & all your happy-go-lucky meditative jibber jabber isn't worth squat.Meh. C1ay and Queso 2 Quote
Buffy Posted May 4, 2006 Report Posted May 4, 2006 Calm down boys. Its not like he's exactly Orb "Simon" Sycli...and I might look a little like Anastasia Brown but the similarity stops there. So, to learn something here, stridency is sucky, and you can say something sucks but try to say it nicely, and knee jerking is totally jerky. Everybody has a right to have my opinion,Buffy Quote
C1ay Posted May 4, 2006 Report Posted May 4, 2006 Thanks for sharing. Keep doing things that make you smile, and perhaps which add a smile to the face of those around you.Jim's music may not be the favorite genre of some but he's having fun sharing it with us. I can certainly understand the desire to share as much as I like to share the news... Quote
C1ay Posted May 4, 2006 Report Posted May 4, 2006 I don't really see/hear the blues in it at all :hihi:I don't know about that. I think it has a beat I've heard Bonnie Raitt play a time or two... Quote
Buffy Posted May 4, 2006 Report Posted May 4, 2006 I was forced to listen to Bonnie Raitt as a kid during long drives to Grandma and Grandpa's...You had to be *forced?* That's artificial *something*! :note2: Bonnie rocks and is bluesy to boot! :) This song is decidedly not blues :hihi:. Country - yesThere are more similarities between the two than most would like to admit, but if its got a shuffle beat, its more "bluesy", so try rearranging the song like that...
