Turtle Posted May 14, 2006 Report Posted May 14, 2006 How often do you eat/prepare meals at home compared to eating out? Feel free to expound while I construct a poll.:) :) Quote
Queso Posted May 14, 2006 Report Posted May 14, 2006 i go out more than twice a weekbecause I like being out of the houseand It's easier,I get to experience something weirdwhile I can think intensely,Restaurants, food joints, or whateverreally freak me out.Everyone herding together to consumeit's so scary,I feel way too much there . .And it's overwhelming, and all of thismakes me think I'm crazy,But I go there anyway, because when I walk out the doorwith a bag of foodOr BrowniesI just laughand laughbecause of the crazy vibes I getfrom People.I don't get that here,it's just me, my music, and Cars driving by. Tormod Posted May 14, 2006 Report Posted May 14, 2006 We eat out much less now than we used to, probably because we live in an area with absolutely no places to eat - even though it's densely populated. If we had had a food court or something in the area we might be frequent users. Occasionally we take the kids for burgers or pizza but usually we eat at home. Quote
Queso Posted May 14, 2006 Report Posted May 14, 2006 I'm eating Jalepeño's and pistachios, throwing the unediblesout my window.(also where bowls are cashed) Quote
InfiniteNow Posted May 15, 2006 Report Posted May 15, 2006 This question could be interpreted in more than one way, however, I will take a guess at your intended meaning and vote. :) Quote
Vagabond -SC2- Posted May 15, 2006 Report Posted May 15, 2006 we usually grab a pizza on monday or tuesday eve and then there is Friday night, going out for some beer and food or is that Sat. well one of those days (which ever one the little baby lets us or we find a sitter). Anyway i think that is what Grandparents are for, or at least they help us out a lot. Ok i can ramble on but Ill stop now before it get to annoying. Quote
Racoon Posted May 15, 2006 Report Posted May 15, 2006 O I havn't ate out a woman in months. You beat me to that punch line Orby! :) Months huh? I almost never eat fast food. Less than 3 x a Year.I mostly cook at home. Once in a while I go to a restraunt. I took Shawn the homeless bum to BJ's Bar and Grill a little while ago. Good pizza and some dark beer. I eat at restraunts more when I have a girlfriend. But I usually cannot justify the expense. I can buy more food at the grocery store with the same money. When I'm Single >>> once a month or soW/ Girlfriend >>> weekly-ish Quote

Jay-qu Posted May 15, 2006 Report Posted May 15, 2006 Excellent idea GAHD! Why, that's enough to immigrate over.:cup: Oslo bound; order up! PS You forgot the libations!:thumbs_upBuy cheap aussie meat than go to olso make some burgers and sell em for $10 each in T's area ;) I eat in a restuarant maybe once a month, otherwise its just at home. Its nice to go out sometimes but really when you can make more and just as good tasting food at home.. then it only comes down to the cleaning issue Quote
Babbler Posted May 17, 2006 Report Posted May 17, 2006 As a child, going out was a real treat. As I grown older, I frequented the fast food joint more often, and they lost their power. Sometimes, I just like to stay home and veg, if you will. Quote
Jules Grimm Posted May 18, 2006 Report Posted May 18, 2006 I like eating out once in a while when i've just had a crap day and want to relax with some games and game with my fiance. The thing is that i like cooking and its far cheaper that way so would rather cook most of the time. Luckily we have an arrangement where i cook and he washes the dishes. :) Quote
