I would like a rain gauge. I leave out some cups and do an eyeball check.

It rains a grip here where we live, in case ya'll didn't know. Rain Gauge. I can look outside and tell its raining hard again...:)

Who needs equipment? I can just watch the weather man. They are always right you know. :(

what is this....rain....you speak of? :(

Its the stuff you Californians need.

Stuff we get in annoyingly abundance of many times.

Where do you think you get your water from??

Other, my TV doubles as a weather prediction device.

You don't need a prediction device. Everyday there's a 50% chance of rain..... either it will or it won't. :)

Option 8: Computer linked station.

Can't believe someone's ticked it!

My guess would be on the author of the poll... :P

I've got a digital indoor/outdoor deal that measures temps in and out, and also changing barometric conditions and humidity. Slighly more than basic, but really quite cool.

I got one of those indoor/outdoor therm/barom/atomic clock thingys for giving a speech at a conference last year. And we put a glass out on the patio when it rains and use a ruler for a rain guage. That's three checkboxes! :)

When it rains, things get wet,

What I find more amazing is that 2 people have an evaporation tray while no one claims to have an hygrometer.  :) :D

Since mine is dysfunctional due to a crimped foil spiral, I plan a little surgery to try & reshape it. Forceps; stat.:hihi:

Hygrometer coil reshaped & instrument calibrated to 49% relative humidty according to Weather Channel. Now I just have to wait & see if it responds & responds properly to changes in relative humidity.:D

Probably time to make a wind vane.
