Southtown Posted December 29, 2006 Report Posted December 29, 2006 So what knowledge does it take, specifically? I only know webpages and scripting stuff. Still learning C++ and Java. I assume you guys need to know linux, perl, and networking mostly, correct? Quote
Killean Posted December 29, 2006 Report Posted December 29, 2006 Linux (specifically CentOS)HTMLJavaScriptCSSXMLPHPMySQLKnowing vBulletin helps too. XML not so much, but having it under your belt can come in handy. You will need to know HT, JS, and CS to edit templates, or to write your own page content. And since the whole system is run using PHP/MySQL, they are a must. Quote
