IDMclean Posted May 23, 2006 Report Posted May 23, 2006 Humans in my experience are non-newtonian in nature. When faced with adverisity we apply a non-purportional ammount of force against the problem. Genetic disorders are not likely to multiply. Some say we are removed from Natural selection. They haven't looked around, they stay with their heads confortably stuck in the sand. People with genetic disorders may breed, but they aren't likely to dent world wide population. Like I said, I'd rather let the minority of people deal with their problems and live happily than interfer and cause them suffering. So my answer obiviously would be: No, I do not believe that the collective body of people should have a say in who can an cannot breed, based on genetic bias. Also cause it came up: No, I do not believe that population controls are nessary. Population sub-replacement will break-even with itself in the next 15-20 years and will begin a decline only 5-10 years after that. Quote
