We allow our senses to be constantly bombarded with various sounds and written text!!! , as we often keep on eating and drinking all kind of food? items.

How much are they healthy for our mind/body, we seldom think!

Is there a way out?

Is it in Silence and Fasting:confused:

Actually it's better to eat well and excersise.

It depends on the digestive system of your mind, as is being discussed in another thread on obesity currently a reasonably hot topic.

But my usage of the terms was more metaphorical than literal, remember I belong to the land of thoughts.

Cacophony to me, is the constant bombardment of random thoughts in the mind.

Similarly Gluttony, is an indiscremate devouring of thoughts, thoughts that cannot be reasonably digested by the mind.

Frugality is recommended in either case!!!:)

Perhaps both can be addictive.

We consume knowledge as we do food without really savouring it and letting it percolate and permeate our being.

Hypography is a good example of a vast smorgasbord where people flit, like butterflies, from one dish to another.
