hallenrm Posted May 31, 2006 Report Posted May 31, 2006 Let's be a bit generous and indulgent to ourselves, and give ourselves a complement, we think we really deserve!! By the way, you can choose more than one options!!! Quote

Dark Mind Posted June 1, 2006 Report Posted June 1, 2006 I marked everything but ...just great :D. I've been told everything I'm everything else on the list, but a great person I have never been called. And I don't believe they exist :). Who's to define what a "great" person is anyway ? Quote
Dark Mind Posted June 1, 2006 Report Posted June 1, 2006 Pssh, as if. I'm a far better person than you. :) It's so easy to classify people as being "bad". They do something someone else doesn't think is right or approve of, and BAM they're a "bad" person. We've all done things that others don't approve of. You can't help it. Even if you're completely neutral in every possible respect and in every kind of debate, there will be people who think you should be more comitted to some kind of cause. I therefore, based on this fact, declare every living human being a "bad" person . Good people don't exist, there are just those who are less bad than others :D. Quote
hallenrm Posted June 1, 2006 Author Report Posted June 1, 2006 Well, a few explanations, most of the people who have polled have sought one or the other! This thread is in fact, complements the thread started by racoon Postiveness, in that thread Racoon expected people to post positive opinions about other members of Hypography. I felt the need of such a thread to pop up the spirits, of some of our peers who often feel depressed. I believe depression is caused by a sense of low self esteem. We often forget the many positive aspects in our personality, and we must remind ourselves of them in order to avoid depression of any sort. Am I right??? :hihi: Quote
ronthepon Posted June 1, 2006 Report Posted June 1, 2006 I'm being a little bit strayed here, but they say:Self Praise is no recommendation. But! We need it when selp pity becomes our thing. So! Praise yourself! (And don't make a big deal out of it) Quote
Queso Posted June 2, 2006 Report Posted June 2, 2006 Am I right???:) :( Not in orbs case. Sometimes I get depressedbecause I feel very intense emotions, and I get very, very Highwith them. Inevitable,I must get as lowas I do high, and this is a yin yangand I love it. Quote

InfiniteNow Posted June 5, 2006 Report Posted June 5, 2006 I am very surpised at the outcry over a recent member's banishment, and am disheartened that such a group of members struggle to understand the reasons behind the decision. EDIT: Sorry, thought this was one of the other "I am..." threads. Quote
Dark Mind Posted June 6, 2006 Report Posted June 6, 2006 Seems very few of our pollers feel they are "Just Great". So much for the attitude booster :). Quote
Mercedes Benzene Posted June 7, 2006 Report Posted June 7, 2006 It seems that I am never fully capable of accurately judging myself.Does anyone else feel that way? Quote
