First to clarify, these two meteorites found near Oslo come from a July meteor, not the June event that prompted this thread. I haven't seen any reports of finds from that event.

I have plotted these recent finds on a Google map & posted it in the Science Gallery; the find locations are marked by dollar signs.:doh:

Here's a bit to consider:

So at $600 dollars/gram and 700 grams, that's a cool $420,000.00!!!!! And he gave it away!!!:doh: :doh: ;) & :doh: Because these new finds are CO type carbnonaceous chondrites, they may even fetch more than $600/gram. Worth a look I figure.;)
