I see your analogy and continue on with it. Is the reason we decide to burst vollenteered or because of some type of plate gradually building stress beneth us? Eventaully breaking what once was, into shards expecting us to pick up the pieces, melt them together, and form a new layer?

We explode because we are expected to explode. We implode because we are not expected to explode. I live in a system, and have to accept that.

Identity is the crusty old us and explosions that blast apart the ego (I come, 'E GOes)are our failure to stay and further analyse the present (in both senses of the word) life has given us. Our explosion of rage is a heated exchange that disperses our attention away from the here and now, and transmits it to the there and then (reaction away from, not cooling down and approach towards). The future has no identity because it is free energy - the past (solid reality) is nothing but that. Being unknown and unknowable by its very definition, we have to trust like a child in our approach to it. It's down to the difference between 'seeing' and 'looking'. If we look for something, we already know what it is we're after (systematic, logical, concentrated, deliberate scan). However if we go out with no intention of doing anything in particular, we can accidently stumble upon something totally new and exciting (serendipity: peripheral vision/research with no specific object - Star Trek 'Heading Captain?' 'Out there Mr Sulu'). Perhaps this explains bread and butter research, refining past developments as opposed to pioneers, living on the outskirts of society and never acknowledged until after their deaths, going where 'No man has gone before'. 'Before the beginning of something, of great brilliance, there must initially be chaos. Before a brilliant person begins something great, they must appear foolish to the crowd' (The I-Ching). In other words Jesus saying 'Abandon everything and follow me,' may sound crazy to anyone with a safe, established life but to the bored it's a challenge to throw off their fears of the future and leap into the unknown (have faith).   :eek2:

Maybe DNA isn't a code but an electrical switch and these outside forces you speak of trip it (sometimes up, sometimes down: Binary, on/off - accidents/deliberates - destruct/construct). Perhaps the cross bars act to inform one side of what the other side is doing, like a genetic liaison officer as in the brain (If you cut the corpus callosum in the brain then both sides act independently, one hand trying to pull down a zip, while the other tries to pull it up as was found when they attempted to cure epilepsy in this way: See other post about two halves making a working whole).

Yoda says use the force, huh? Personally I prefer the gentler approach (Don't force it, you'll only break it and it shows you don't understand how to use it properly anyway: Daft Invader)

Hrm. I was thinking this for DNA:

White being the area this electricity travels.

Red travelling, possibly, pushing down.

Blue travelling, possibly, pushing up.

Pink travelling, possibly, pushing toward Blue away from Red.

Lavender travelling, possibly, pushing toward Red away from Blue.

Now, there's some grey area. Hardy har.

My only thought is that there is a back side to this image, which give's DNA it's double helix formation. I'm not sure if the physics match up to the structure. But, consider the fact that we might still not know all the factors in physics, I for one don't, I can't say it to be a false statement.

Notice the usage of color. Hot - Cold?

DNA being a part of life, can be analogized for other, possibly more complex life forms.

Wow so many thoughts come from this post.

You better start asking me direct questions to direct traffic a little.

Because I could talk all day about jesus. Plus, your last point was about him.
