eloxer Posted June 26, 2006 Report Posted June 26, 2006 Well, I came across this site because I do try to develop a discrete Quantum theory. One would say, that Quantum by definition means discrete. With "discrete" I mean that I assume that the universe's working can be reduced to a connectionist system based on integral values. Connectionist systems are known to be responisble for emergent phenomenons that might in turn be responsible for the particle-wave duality. In fact nothing in physics suggests continuum based fields. Rather they are in some kind step-wise. A connectionist model was inspired by Charles Cagle (Singtech) who to my knowledge is first in describing quants by the values in their relations to other quants. This has serious implications: quants don't have one specific state but they have n-1 states and this n varies as quants are added or removed to the unverse. Observation of the quantum state is dependent on the observer's frame by which C. Cagle opens up a door for the combination of quantum physics and Einstein's relativity. Best regards, your new member. InfiniteNow Posted June 26, 2006 Report Posted June 26, 2006 Welcome eloxer, I would normally ask what made you decide to join, but I feel confident that I can accurately ascertain this by your post above. It was for our Theology forum. I look forward to your contributions. Enjoy the site. :) Cheers. Quote
