anglepose Posted July 6, 2006 Report Posted July 6, 2006 have you ever heard of sprites there pretty intresting things. a sprite is where a negative ( i think) discharge from positive lightning (usaly lightning is negative but you get freak instances of possitivity )disperses in the upper atmospher the sprites can be 10 times the hight of the lightening reaching all the way to the tropo sphere. theres more on this wiki entry on lightning Turtle 1 Quote
