What is deep thought but not reacting to everything we think we hear? What do I mean by this? Well it occured to me that every time I pounce on somebody (flame) it's because I 'think' I know what they meant but only by not reacting do I discover what their true intent was. This I believe is because we have two states of being, which I call the Artist Effect (Observing the world from a distance and leaping on it: The less you act, the deeper your thought and the more accurate your thoughts are likely to be on a subject - if we didn't think we knew what was meant (our paranoia) we would stay cool and dispassionate always, a witness to truth not a reactive (shallow) fool). George Bush is learning but have we got the time to wait? If we are really immortal as spirits does it matter and if we believe we are not, is this why we panic and rush in where angels fear to tread? ('It's only a movie' Sheryl Crow).
