I'm really interested in creating a thing that, when used, would conserve energy. Does anyone have here have some ideas for that? thanks in advance to anyone who can help!:hyper: Quote
ronthepon Posted July 13, 2006 Report Posted July 13, 2006 Try making a battery charger that can be run using a cycle. To do it, use a dynamo and capacitators. Quote
ronthepon Posted July 13, 2006 Report Posted July 13, 2006 Else, if you want some real advice, take some time to surf this site. http://sci-toys.com/index.html Some examples of what they offer are http://sci-toys.com/scitoys/scitoys/magnets/gauss.html take your time! It's an excellent one. Quote
UncleAl Posted July 15, 2006 Report Posted July 15, 2006 Make a pellet gun or slingshot. Take it in the evening and break every streetlight you can find. If you are good you can save hundreds of kilowatt-hrs of wasted energy while expending less than 2000 kcal yourself. Society as a whole will be so grateful that it will award you free room and board for several months. Quote
cockydude Posted July 16, 2006 Report Posted July 16, 2006 Try looking into microbial fuel cell. It is sort of a battery powered by microbes. You can actually make those given the resources, which has fairly low demands Quote

Microbial sounds good, but do some research. See if there are some areas that interest you. Quote
