(Physical reality) - (empirical reality) = religion

Roman Catholic and Greek Orthodox views of science are in total (bloodletting) disagreement with Protestant approaches to science. Which one is "Western" philosophy? What about athiests? Folks whose thoughts are validated or falsified by experiment are overall not of the mob. OTOH, point to a priest in any religion who substitutes prayer for a flush toilet.

There are perhaps 1000 distinct Muslim sects. Are you going Waabite, Shiite, Sunni... Kurd Sunni...? All are as crazy as Protestants vs. Catholics in Ireland or Muslims vs. Hindus in Pakistan/India. Will you go Muslim prior to 1492 when Islam was tolerant guardian of all human knowledge during the Catholic Dark ages (al-gebra didn't come from Rome) or after adoption of the 1800s' Turkish model of unworldly piety and spilled hot blood?

What is historic truth? All Catholic navigators in the 15th century were bound by the One True Church upon pain of excommunication to use Roman numerals as opposed to ciphers. They physically could not handle the spherical geometry of navigation. All deepwater navigators - out of sight of land - were Jews, Muslims, or pagans. Catholic Columbus in rabidly Catholic Spain was most certainly exploiting non-Catholic sources of knowledge. His impressed crews were, as usual, obtained from the State's prisons. Who was overflowing Spanish prisons in 1492 as the Inquisition wound down? Jews.

Trace Columbus' career after discovering the New World. The brilliant man suddenly became an impossibly stupid oaf who could navigate neither politics nor New World geography. He had dumped the prisoners and had a Catholic support staff. Draw the obvious conclusion cause and effect.

The NCC-1701 Enterprise had two sets of food replicators. Both Captain Kirk and Mr. Spock were circumcized members of the tribe. Spock's split-fingered greeting is borrowed from Jewish High Holy Day ceremonies.
