Spectroscopy and Microanalysis?

As far as anyone knows:

Are there labs or perhaps universities where you can take samples to have their composition analyzed: using either spectroscopy or other methods of microanalysis.

 

I have read about people having things analyzed for purity, but want to know where I can have it done myself.

Any help appreciated.

open your phonebook, look up local universities, when the operator/clerk answers ask them for the chemistry department, ask...

Universities maintain their own analytical labs on a departmental basis. Know what you want and have the money to pay for it.
