There is a move for sustainable, or green"er" energy and recycling. fungus is very effective at chewing up certain compounds. one of the ones i have been looking into that seems to be a bit of a "problem" is celullose/lignin. i am curious if mushrooms can be used to harness this energy as it does convert tehse thigns into other compounds. i have mostly been looking into oyster mushrooms. what are your thoughts?

I heard this amazing speach about indroducing mushrooms into a toxic spill area, or contaminated space, and within 18 months the eco system would be fully restored, without a trace remaining within the mushrooms of anything toxic.

Mushrooms are so amazing! :hyper:
