cwes99_03 Posted November 30, 2006 Report Posted November 30, 2006 Everybody should have one of those for their favorite team. I've backed the Hawks in their superbowl tries, and the eagles too. Been disapointed both times, but the bears have a shot this year, so whether they win their next 5 or loose them, I'm cheering them on. Quote
InfiniteNow Posted November 30, 2006 Report Posted November 30, 2006 I'm not giving up hope for my Seahawks making a repeat Superbowl appearance :hyper: Although they have looked like crap for the most part this season, but are 7-4 and hopefully can get the Offense clicking again.I say you blame it on the snow. :) Quote
Racoon Posted January 6, 2007 Author Report Posted January 6, 2007 Its Playoff Time!! FOX Sports - NFL - Struggling teams get a fresh start in playoffs Seahawks have looked like crud and are limping into this battle. I like their chances against an equally miserable Cowboy team who's on the road. IN's Giants, who squeaked in are playing a resurgent Eagles team with no love lost between them.Anyone else have a team still alive? A punchers chance,Racoon Also, Don't forget the College Championship game between Ohio State and Florida will be on soon! Tarantism Posted January 8, 2007 Report Posted January 8, 2007 aye aye aye...another disappointing season. however the dirty birds have the tenth pick overall...and the prospect of a good new coach sounds nice. i read today that they are going to be interviewing Mike Singaltary...that would be a treat...if he could coah. im wondering who the top draft picks will be this year? it seems like the falcons could use a first round wide reciever...though so many have been picked by them in the first round in recent years...another useful pick could be at safety...or linebacker. some people may say that they should pick a qaurterback...but i give Mike Vick two years to improve. InfiniteNow Posted January 14, 2007 Report Posted January 14, 2007 It would seem I wasn't as coherent as I thought I was whilst posting last night... Thanks for keeping me honest, Bill. :phones: Sorry about the Seahawks, Rac. They played an amazing game, Chicago just had lady luck on her side... Quote
TheBigDog Posted February 4, 2007 Report Posted February 4, 2007 Today is the big game. Here is my prediction... This will be one of the lowest scoring Superbowls in history. The Bears defense is going to own Payton Manning, getting at least 4 interceptions. But the Bears offense is going to be just as awful. In the end I think it will be the Bears defense winning the game. Bears 13 (1 interception return for TD, two field goals)Colts 10 (1 TD pass, one field goal) Bill Turtle 1 Quote
InfiniteNow Posted February 4, 2007 Report Posted February 4, 2007 28 to 24... Bears. I'm not rooting for a team, but for a good game. :esmoking: Quote
Buffy Posted February 4, 2007 Report Posted February 4, 2007 Is there a game today? We've got some party to go to today that has to do with watching really expensively produced TV commercials...called Super-something.... Two weeks to the Daytona 500! :esmoking: Why is there no three-quarters back,Buffy Quote
Tarantism Posted February 4, 2007 Report Posted February 4, 2007 the colts will win unless rex grossman and the bears running game can keep the colts off the feild. the bears defence is certainly the best in the league...but every defence gets tired. so there you have it. (colts by three) Quote
Tarantism Posted February 4, 2007 Report Posted February 4, 2007 i WILL be pulling for the bears, though. Quote

TheBigDog Posted February 5, 2007 Report Posted February 5, 2007 Good call Infy. The game was a bit of a yawner for me. It started off interesting. But then was dull. I am a huge Prince fan, so I enjoyed half time. I wish he was not dealing with wet guitars, he is a spectacular guitar player. Jan 29th, 1995. I was in section 417 at Joe Robbie Stadium and saw my 49ers defeat the Chargers 49 to 26. Now that was a game. The half time show sucked. Bill Quote
