Alex Grey - visionary art

Has anybody heard of this guy? His art is sometimes sensational and it looks like he must have been tripping (or you need to be) to do it. Very skilled stuff. Let me know what you think (http://www.alexgrey.com).

Alex grey is amazing.

 

I first saw his art on the cover of tool's album "lateralus" in 2001.

 

I've been following his art and his writings for a couple years now.

I haven't - didn't know he wrote as well as painted until you two above mentioned it (Will look up some of his writings too in that case).

alex grey certainly has a unique vision. i havent seen anything like it. i saw one of his pieces, entitled "death", on the cover of Rick Strassman's book DMT: the Spirit Molecule. great stuff,
