yeah but boba fett kicks ***.

Boba Fett trivia for those to young to remember...

Boba Fett was not named in any film until Return of the Jedi. But everyone knew his name even when The Empire Strikes Back was out because of a TV ad for the action figures.

I'm sure I've read his name in a few books, haven't I? I have the original books, so I'll have to go back and check them out, but he did play a very big (if not short lived) roll in that he captured Han Solo (until the first of the three trilogy came out.)

Let's hear outroar at there not being a 7,8, and 9.

I am sure he was named in the books. But my crowd when I was 12 years old was not reading the books. Many of the creatures from the first movie did not have names either, even in the books, but they were named as action figures and everyone knew what they were from that. Now they take the merchandizing way too seriously.

As for 7, 8 and 9... I believe they will still be made. Lucas loves money too much to not do it.

On another note, I remember reading what was alleged to be the screenplay for #3 back around 1988 or 89. My friend still has a copy. The story had many earily similar elements when it came out.

And my final contribution to the Star Wars dsicussion...

Another friend of mine had a great suggestion. They should redo episode #1 with the actor being about 12 years old. That way he would be much older than the other students, and be that much more remarkable for his acheivment. The age difference between he and the shick could be dropped to a reasonable amount, and the time gap between the first two movies would be decreased to 4 years. And the best part is they could do the whole thing with special effects by just digitally inserting the older actor into the scenes and having some of the dialog redone to fit the new age. It would make the parallel between he and Luke much stronger for the late starting age. And it would make #1 fit much tighter with the rest of the story.

Don't forget the brief yet invaluable contributions of

"It'll be like old times, Luke. They'll never stop us."

— Biggs Darklighter, shortly before the Battle of Yavin

Biggs Darklighter was a member of the Rebel Alliance who flew an X-wing during the Battle of Yavin. Biggs's astromech droid during the battle was R2-Q2.

So far Han Solo rules. Is it because of his rogueish ways with the princess? Is it because he was once an Empirial soldier who cut and run when he didn't like what he saw? Is it simply because he was Corellian? I think it is because he was a pirate that had a tarnished heart of silver.

Is that why Han wears the black and white suit?

Yep spice was a drug, and if I can remember an incredibly powerful one at that. Han dumped a load of spice before being boarded by imperials and that is what got him in trouble with Jaba.

That was before his work with the rebellion though. He only became a member of the rebellion after he met Luke and Leia
