changocoy Posted June 15, 2012 Report Posted June 15, 2012 I know this thread is old, and I am not a forum troll, but wanted to comment on the book. I picked this book up from a garage sale and read it. I wondered if anything in the book was true and found this forum. I was personally wondering how in this expansion theory, he could account for orbits if everything were expanding, and I know nothing of relativity or anything of the kind and found on this forum that it couldn't work. The book did make me think and I found it compelling, however I also know it to be inaccurate in many ways. One thing too, since Gravity Probe B was finished and the results were a success, we basically proved relativity does in fact exist, so it pretty much also proves this guy was wrong as well. Nice try though. It was very compelling. I especially liked what he said about circuit theory. It is very true that you can measure both sides of a light bulb wire with an amp probe and it does measure the same. He may be onto something there. After all you will get shocked from both sides of the wire. I would take it all with a grain of salt, until we do actually have a theory that marries newton and relativity, because there is something in between them to make it all work. It was good to see the posts on this book. Quote
