I had an acquaintance who once said something I though quiet profound about kids. I have never forgotten what was an off-the-cuff comment.

She said; "My children have given me more pain and more joy than I thought humanly possible."

I would add that they taught me more than I thought possible too.

Here politicians are giving women $4,000 "Baby Bonus"to encourage them to have a baby.

(While imprisoning refugee kids- only those that arrive by boat -planes are OK)

I think they live on a different planet to the rest of us.

I have met the right girl, and our relationship has proven strong enough. I have not seen her since she moved 9months ago. But we are as close as we have ever been. When we graduate college, and can support a family, we will have one. But we both think that starting a family when you cannot support it physically and mentally is a total lack of responsibility.

I think that it would be a good idea for teens to keep their legs closed. I attend a school with a population of around 2,000 students. Their is approximately 200 female students that are pregnant.

Wow! tell them to move to Australia.:hihi:

Thats worth $800,000 in baby Bonussss alone.

Enough to start their own Child Care Empire (which is also subsidised -only the profit making ones like ABC now buying up big in US of A)

Your statement here seems to imply that pregnancy is entirely the fault of the female. While I don't see it as a "fault," I do believe your comment would do better to include the role of the male, as it "takes two to tango."

It takes two, but the woman has the only legal say in the matter. It always falls on a woman concenting.

I would go back and check those numbers. 20% of any female population being pregnant is extremely high.

I would go back to the school and check out the girls. Seems like they're fast and loose and could be up for a hellava good time if you play your cards right. :D

I know it is an extrodinary high statistic! But I checked the statistics through the office for a projct that I was doing.

I am guessing you mean the school office. Do they mean that 1 in 5 girls get pregnant during High School, or that at any point in time, 1 in 5 high school girls are pregnant? There is a big difference between those two. Statistically about 34% of women get pregnant at least one time before turning 20.

Yes, I have children.....110 of them. Okay so I work in childcare and none of them are actually mine. :hihi: But I do take care of quite a few.

As for children that I have through reproduction. No, I have none, but my husband and I do plan on having children one day. :)
