Shekhar Posted August 24, 2006 Author Report Posted August 24, 2006 Which is the richest source of calcium and vitamin D ? Quote
LJP07 Posted August 24, 2006 Report Posted August 24, 2006 Milk would be the best form of calcium but it must be stressed that in order for calcium to work effectively, you have to take Vitamin C to help the absorption of Calcium. When you talk of Vitamin C, you're talking about your green vegetables like broccoli and cabbage and citrus fruits like Orange, Lemons and Limes. Sunlight is a cheap effective form of Vitamin D, and it is also necessary for the effective absorption of Iron. Quote
