Turtle Posted July 18, 2007 Report Posted July 18, 2007 Later today I leave on my first "real" vacation in a very long time. I am driving the family to New Jersey where the boys will spend some time with their aunts and cousins while celtfaery and I spend a week in Paris. I am extremely excited. I will have my computer with me because I don't have time off from school, but I don't think I will be spending any time surfing Hypo. See y'all in August! Bill Ahhh Paris!!! i heard they have a super sewage treatment system. but, i have an idea (as if) since you won't be in contact with Hypography, you can put Hypography in contact with France. Here's the plan>> make up some little cards with nothing on them but Hypography.com, and leave them discretely around Grand Paris. or not. :phones: :hyper: my real Paris life is living vicariously through you & celtfairy on this one; don't screw it up for us. can you guys wink at some Frenchies randomly and report their responses? ;) :hyper: ;) PS ixnay on da inkway; might be offensive or something. however on the cards, i have amendment. make only 4 cards, 2 for each of you...each represents one wing on a butterfly...this makes you two the flappers of chaos as you each choose randomly where & when to leave your cards in Paris. bon voyage. Mercedes Benzene Posted July 22, 2007 Report Posted July 22, 2007 I'm leaving for running camp in about a half-hour!I'll see you all on Friday! Quote

I have three there of particular interest to you, Mr. Turtle. I am going to start another section of the Gallery dedicated to World Travel, where I will put my picture of Paris, Eiffel Tower, Versaille, etc. Bill Turtle 1 Quote

Mercedes Benzene Posted August 16, 2007 Report Posted August 16, 2007 Tomorrow I'm going to DC with my XC coach to meet Alan Webb!!!!! Pyrotex Posted August 29, 2007 Author Report Posted August 29, 2007 The contract I was so excited about--building a commercial cargo rocket to carry stuff to low Earth orbit--completely fell through. So, I am busy looking for another job. The handwriting is on the wall--in flashing neon. Resume attached. My mother is finally coming to visit me after all these years. My wife, Gwen, and I have only been married 4 years, and she is nervous about her mom-in-law seeing our new house for the first time. Quote

Pyrotex Posted September 14, 2007 Author Report Posted September 14, 2007 Thank you DougF, Jay-Qu and Big Dog! Next week is my last week here at Nocturnal Aviation Engineering. (A fly by night operation, if there ever was one.) So, I may not be posting as regular for a while. Or I may have to start posting just from home until after I get settled in the new job. So, if my appearances get a little sparse, you know why. In the meantime, visit my latest TGIF posts. And Anything. Quote
