ronthepon Posted September 7, 2006 Report Posted September 7, 2006 I have a solution of Ferric Chloride (FeCl3) and want to get Ferrous Chloride (FeCl2) I also have access to Ferrous Sulphide (FeS)... and though I cannot see how it will be useful, Ferrous Sulphate (FeSO4). Anybody got ideas for me? Quote

Are those the ONLY things you have to work with in the "project". If not, you could always use copper. Ferric chloride is a fairly strong lewis acid, and will redox with copper. Perhaps simple glucose would work? Quote
