paigetheoracle Posted September 11, 2006 Report Posted September 11, 2006 Does anyone know if any work has been done on violent emotion and fat metabolism? The reason I ask is that one of the precursors to my migraine attacks is indigestion and as I know anger or at least determination drives me on passed gentle (and proper i.e. slower) metabolism, I wondered if anyone else had caught onto this in an official capacity? (Oliver Sacks in his book on the subject, calls them rage headaches and Henry Beiler in his book on diet and health (Food is your best Medicine), calls it a fermentation problem: When I'm not angry or driven (working to a tight schedule), I don't get attacks or indigestion even but when I do, I notice it's fats I have difficulty dealing with, which indicates a link between the two i.e. emotion and bodily functioning).
