Napolean Posted November 16, 2004 Report Posted November 16, 2004 Hi. I'm having a lot of problems with a science project. This is what you need to do, blow down 3 pieces of paper one by one from around 10 feet away. Sounds easy huh? Well here's the catch, you can only use cardboard, paper, tape, glue, straws, and trash bags. AND it can't be longer than 29 inches. Some help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! ~Nap Quote
Bo Posted November 17, 2004 Report Posted November 17, 2004 well the easiest way would probably be to take your apparatus out on a windy day, or isn't that allowed? Bo Quote
gpdone Posted November 21, 2004 Report Posted November 21, 2004 Napolean, It sounds like the intention of the project is to test your ability and creative process as well. In other words, someone wants to see your ideas not someone elses. I will say however if you concentrate on a device that will produce a highly directional 'puff' of air toward the peices of paper one at a time you will be successful. Also imagining things like woopie cussions, bagpipes and bazooka's might help. Quote
