ThisIsMyName Posted September 18, 2006 Report Posted September 18, 2006 I can't seem to figure this question out: The highschool's water polo team was always doing unusual things. Once they stayed in a pool for an entire game without anyone on the team getting wet. How did they do it? I am so confused. can soemone help m eout or give me a hint?:hyper: Quote
InfiniteNow Posted September 18, 2006 Report Posted September 18, 2006 Maybe the pool is a bet... the water polo team might have been betting on a basketball game and it might not have had anything to do with playing water polo (no need to get wet). If the water polo team was taking bets on the basketball game, they could be in the pool for the entire game w/o getting wet. That's one possibility, probably not the right one. There are likely more. :hyper: Quote
ThisIsMyName Posted September 18, 2006 Author Report Posted September 18, 2006 You're a genius. I hope that's correct. :hyper: Quote
ThisIsMyName Posted September 18, 2006 Author Report Posted September 18, 2006 Shoot. It wasn't right :hyper: The pool isn't empty either... Anyone else have an idea for me? Quote
Tormod Posted September 18, 2006 Report Posted September 18, 2006 Maybe there was no water in the pool and they played cards. Edit: Sorry, didn't see that the pool wasn't empty. *puts on thinking cap* Quote
InfiniteNow Posted September 18, 2006 Report Posted September 18, 2006 They were inside a submersible vehicle of some sort? Quote
ThisIsMyName Posted September 18, 2006 Author Report Posted September 18, 2006 Hmm.. I highly doubt that... Um... Maybe... Arg!!! I don't know!!! This is stupid..... I mean, what else could they be doing? Think I should Google it? :hyper: Quote
InfiniteNow Posted September 18, 2006 Report Posted September 18, 2006 The answer is contingent on the one posing the question, as it could be all manner of things fitting the criteria. Where is the question from, and do you have further info? Quote
Jay-qu Posted September 18, 2006 Report Posted September 18, 2006 ...Once they stayed in a pool for an entire game without anyone on the team getting wet...[/b] If you take that on literally, perhaps there where people standing on the shoulders of the team and where able to avoid getting wet. Quote
ThisIsMyName Posted September 19, 2006 Author Report Posted September 19, 2006 New hint: It has something to do will car-pooling.... Perhaps they got stuck in traffic and missed the game...???? What do you all think? Quote
Tormod Posted September 19, 2006 Report Posted September 19, 2006 "Stayed in a pool" does not really mean "sat in a car pool" in my dictionary, but then again who am I to say what's up and down. Quote
