paigetheoracle Posted September 19, 2006 Report Posted September 19, 2006 When I was at school we were taught a rhyme for remembering how many days there were in any particular month. I've since thought of another method - namely pairing them as followers and creating a semi-rigid rule. March & April defy the rule but the rest follow it, of the first month mentioned being 30 days and the second 31 (June & July/September & October/ November & December). Has anyone else devised methods for making things easier to memorise like this? Quote

BrainForce Posted November 8, 2006 Report Posted November 8, 2006 There is a easy method which i have known since childhood, yet i never felt any use of such reminders.*attention.*get both of ur hands pointing forwards.*make a punch in both.*adjoin them well.*u now observe ups and downs formed by ur punches.*crests signify the months with days of 31 and troughs the months of 30 days.*u will find that when end up observing one hand ,you have a crest of july. Now start with other hand again a crest, this means successive months of july and august with 31 days. This method have no flaws, the only extra knowledge u must have that is february has 28 days. Quote
